I used to view the end credit of a movie as something that make no sense. Most people don’t stick around, why do they even bother putting everyone’s name up regardless of their involvement. Earlier this month, my name was on the screen at work for something that felt I didn’t play a big part in. I was among many other names that were there shown on a very large screen. To others, it might feel like the long winded movie-end credit. But to the owners of those names, it left a sense of belonging to something larger than your self.
The lesson for me here is to give credit when it’s due, and to give sincere gratitude often. It does not take much, for the giver, but it means so much on the receiving end.
Happy Thanks Giving
